Gold Sponsor Spotlight: Dulux

Dulux

Dulux has been providing innovative and premium quality paints made right here in Australia since 1918, and like many of this year’s Usher Cup partners, Dulux is an organisation committed to giving back and making a positive contribution to the communities they work in.

Queensland State Sales Manager Deb Hudson said Dulux was pleased to be returning as a Gold Sponsor of the 2023 Usher Cup surf contest.

Dulux Group are passionate about supporting communities through many charitable activities and while our capability to support every event and activity is limited, we always appreciate the invitation to participate in genuine community events, and where possible will continue to do so.” Deb Hudson said.

Committed to making a positive impact across the environments they work in including being a founding member of Paintback, an initiative which takes unwanted paint packaging and responsibly disposes of it, ensuring it doesn’t end up in landfill and vital waterways.

Dulux has also assisted more than 250 surf lifesaving clubs across Australia, donating more than 40,000 litres of Dulux Weathershield paints. The projects allows our surf lifesavers to focus on keeping you safe in our beautiful oceans and training the next generation of heroes, while Dulux protects the surf clubs and club houses with paint innovatively created to shield buildings against the harsh weather.

“Sporting group events are one of many ways to bind and build the communities in which we live and work. Dulux are always looking for opportunities to support local communities in partnership with our customers. The Usher Cup and its ethos embraces many of the values that are aligned to those of the Dulux Group such as diversity, gender equality and resilience.”

Thank you, Dulux, for your continued support and commitment to community and positive change.
